Julia Stigenberg is a Ph. D. student at the Swedish Museum of Natural History and Stockholm University. She just received her licentiate degree. Her current research interests include systematics of the subfamily Euphorinae (Braconidae) using both morphological and molecular methods. She recently revised the tribe Meteorini of the Western Palearctic. The evolution of feeding habits and host preferences of the Euphorinae are also within her research interests. Previously she worked for the Swedish Malaise Trap Project and taught entomology courses. Currently she works part time as an assistant to Hege Vårdal with curation of the Hymenoptera collection.
